Douglas A. Nyhoff, M.D.
Board Certified Urologist
Dr. Nyhoff is originally from Wilmington, Delaware. He attended the University of Pennsylvania as an undergraduate. He completed his college education in 1980 graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
He Subsequently attended medical school at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated Cum Laude in 1984 and then proceeded with his urology training at the same institution, entering private practice in 1990. He has worked in the Atlanta area since then.
His areas of interest include minimally invasive prostate surgery, stone disease, female voiding dysfunction, and oncology. He is board certified in Urology and has served as the section chief of urology as St. Joseph’s Hospital. He presently is on staff as Northside Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Gwinnett Medical Center Lawrenceville and Gwinnett Medical Center Duluth.
He resides in the city of Atlanta with his wife and daughter. His non-urologic interests include golf, travel, and family.
